The Meidinger AG is one of the few fan supplier in Switzerlandwhich still performs its own research and development. The company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and fans for explosive environments are designed in accordance with the European directive (94/9/CE) for zone 0 and are come with an ATEX certificate (ATEX = ATmosphere EXplosive).
Meidinger product which cover the entire range of radial and axial industrial fans are used as explosion proof fans, gas pressure boosters, fans for industrial combustion plants, extremely gastight for zone 1 and corrosion – resistance fans, pressure proof fans, fans for gas turbine cooling, low noise high pressure fans, fans for street cleaning machines and tunnel fans. The fans are made from steel, stainless steel, nickel based alloys or special coating (halar), hastelloy and titanium which achieve pressure boosting up to 40,000 Pascal, displacement volumes up to 1000,000 m3/h, operable temperature up to 700 oC and pressure up to 50 bars. Meidinger makes also extremely quiter than conventional blower.
