Leistritz Multiphase Pumps (MPP) are designed for both offshore and onshore oil production, for high-flowing wells, for marginal productions well, and to replace gas-lift systems. Leistritz pulsation-free screw pumps are ideal for multiphase production service because they can handle highly-viscous crude oil along with abrasive solids on a constant flow up to 330.000 GPD and differential pressures up to 1200 psi. They also work with very little inlet pressure (as low as abs. 0.2 bars), and are capable of handling high gas fractions (up to 100%), and are unaffected by slug flow. Unlike the conventional method, Leistritz MPP requires no separation of the oil, gas, water and solids produced by the well; no separate pipelines for transferring the oil and gas, and no compressor for moving the gas.
